How Do We Measure Our Success?
We measure our success
By the rivers that we clean
We measure our success
By the forests made pristine
We measure our success
By the joy that we exclaim
We measure our success
By the purpose we proclaim
In a world that has lost its way,
We measure our success
By the kind words that we say
We measure our success
In our gratitude for each day
We measure our success
In the laughter of children at play!
Our measure of success is based on the metrics of Life. We choose to focus on real value, which are the things, events, materials, resources and creative actions that do not in any way diminish any other life form, environment or ecosystem, in order to gain value for oneself at the cost of another. This, then, requires an entirely different model and paradigm, a new measure of success.
We measure our success on the metric of how many lives we influence to see the world in a sense of awe and wonder at the sheer beauty of creation; we measure our success on how many children we stimulate to open to the wonder of Life and all manner of living things, to see the extraordinary gift in every such living thing, and to guide them in their opening as a spring day guides the natural expression of life in the blossom of a flower and the melting of the snows of winter to reveal the ever renewing noble expression of life.
We measure our success on how many families we assist in building new lives when the foundations that were before are no more; we measure our success on the new ways afforded such families to assist themselves when dead ends suddenly open to new found opportunities, new endeavors, new vistas, new possibilities, new achievements. We measure our success on the value of minds suddenly enlivened by the excitement of gaining new insights, understanding, creativity, awareness achieved through the access of real learning without the entrapments of a numbing indoctrinaire system that serves a lifeless matrix devoid of fertility and fecundity.
We measure our success on the ground of real fertility and fecundity, where soils and fields are remediated and brought back to Life, where birds and bees and squirrels and raccoons can return to the fields and forests where once stood wastelands and mono-cultural factories of lifeless crops lacking nourishment and nutrient for human and animal alike.
We measure our success on the metric of nourishment and on the expansion and expression of active hearts and minds, that once again are able to imbibe such real nourishment as living fields and forests can provide, where diversity of the natural order of things is enabled to thrive once again as the Living Earth removes the shackles of the genetic machines of laboratories that wage war against the living and debase such living by forcing such abominations as they conceive onto the unsuspecting and the innocent and the infirm.
We measure our success on the level and degree in which we are able to teach discernment to the unsuspecting, to imbue wisdom within the innocent while supporting and nurturing the eternal innocence in all men, women and children, and all manner of living things, to ease the discomfort of the infirm and light a path for them to walk back to health and vibrancy by providing them with knowledge and understanding as to the intrinsic wisdom of their own bodies in concurrence with the innate wisdom of leaves and plants and minerals and nutrients that this good Earth has in unlimited abundance so that all shall be healed.
We measure our success in the intangibles of Life that some might call folly and without value, the melodies of the songbirds, the rustle of the leaves, the fragrance of the flowers, the adamantine clarity of a crystal blue sky, the poetry in the cadence of our every day lives, the smile of a stranger, the planting of a tree.
We measure our success in the new communities we raise from the ground, in our ability to bring forward new livelihoods that such communities can make their own for building lives of integrity and fulfillment. We measure our success with every family, community and nation we see lifted out of poverty and degradation.
We measure our success with every river we clean, with every ocean returned to balance, with every resource depleting industry of extraction and exploitation retired and recycled, with every engine of war that is banished from the face of this Earth, with every new project and new technology that enhances Life and makes obsolete all such designed for the diminishment of most for the benefit of the few.
We measure our success with the unbridled delight that sparkles in every child's eye, and most especially we measure our success with every child that is retrieved from the edge of the abyss and his or her return to childhood innocence, as we measure our success in the ever present potential for the renewal of All Innocence, the renewal of All Life, as so too comes the Spring after such a long winter of our flirtation with death and demise.
We Measure Our Success With the Gratitude for All Such Gifts As These
We Measure Such Success as Our Noble Expression
So Let's Rebuild This World and Let Us Begin it Today!

To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete."
